Degree Details
The Registrar of the Thapar University shall publish the final result indicating the grades, the ultimate CGPA and the division obtained by each student on the following basis:

| Ist with distinction | 8.50 or more |
| Ist | 6.75 or more but less than 8.50 |
| IInd | 4.50 or more but less than 6.75 |
The mark sheet and the degree of Bachelors of Technology will be awarded by the Thapar University.
Thapar University was established in 1956 as Leading Engineering Institutions. The university was granted full autonomy and the status of a Deemed University in 1985 by UGC. Thapar University is a NAAC accredited Institution and is also recognized by DEC, Govt. of India.
