The Fundamentals of Globalization
The students are offered the Fundamentals of Globalization non credit course during second year of the program. Globalization has become a foundation for most major corporations. This course provides a "big picture" view of globalization. The student s will be introduced to the trends that have opened the doors to a global economy and the factors that drive corporate globalization.
Students learn to identify right geographic location s and create a good plan for globalizing the product or service. Students will learn what it takes to be a global tem member. Students will explore cross-cultural communication and ways to effectively support and work with a globally based team.
The course covers the following topics:International Communication
The students are offered the international communication non credit course during third year of the program. This course is meant to hone global communication skills, enabling the individual to communicate with a cross-cultural team, communicate easily when abroad, prepare for an international assignment etc. To survive in today’s Global Village; an understanding of International Communications is imperative. Apart from online learning, the course also offers simulation sessions that enhance the learning experience. The course covers the following topics:
